What Is the CCC Score?
The CCC Score stands for Cards & Comps Confidence. It is my estimate of how likely a Tier Credit Multiplier event is to occur based on multiple independent data points.
These may include player reports, promotional offers, historical event patterns, casino communications, and third-party host listings. A higher score means I have greater confidence the event will take place, although you should always verify offers in your own Caesars Rewards account before making travel plans.

Special August Road Trip Promotion
Harrah’s Ak-Chin, Harrah’s Laughlin, and Tropicana Laughlin are reportedly participating in a separate “Road Trip” bonus Tier Credit promotion on select Fridays and Saturdays in August.
Reported earning dates: Aug. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29.
Members can reportedly earn bonus Tier Credits based on total base Tier Credits earned during the promotion, with up to 20,000 bonus Tier Credits available. Participation requirements include earning at least 250 Tier Credits at Harrah’s Ak-Chin and at least 250 Tier Credits at either Harrah’s Laughlin or Tropicana Laughlin.
Important: This is separate from the standard multiplier events. Confirm registration, earning periods, participating properties, and all terms directly with Caesars before playing.
August Tier Credit Bonus Change
Beginning Aug. 1, 2026, Caesars Rewards members are reportedly no longer earning the normal daily Tier Credit bonuses at:
- Horseshoe Tunica
- Horseshoe Bossier City
- Harrah’s Gulf Coast
Tier Credit bonus rules can vary by location and may be modified or discontinued. Check with the property before planning your strategy.
Why EV Matters During a Tier Multiplier Event
A Tier Credit Multiplier can make earning Caesars Diamond or Diamond Plus much faster — but it does not automatically make every casino game a smart play.
Expected Value, or EV, is the long-term expected cost of playing a game. A 5% house edge means the casino expects to keep about $5 for every $100 wagered over time.
American: ~5.26%
Triple-zero: ~7.7%
Typical play: 2–5%+
Bad bets: 10%+
Varies by casino and machine
Poor pay tables: 3%–6%+
Why I Prefer Video Poker for Tier Credit Events
For table games like blackjack or craps, tier credits can be based on estimates like average bet, time played, and theoretical loss. That can make it hard to know exactly where you stand.
Video poker is different. Tier Credits are based on coin-in, so it is much easier to track your progress toward a specific goal.
That matters when you are trying to hit a target like Diamond or Diamond Plus.
